Texoma Gives is fast approaching and we want to get the word out that we will be participating this year!!
By donating on 9/7, or early donation starting on 8/24 you can help Seymour Helping Hands continue to assist their community through the next year. Our goal is $2023 that day. We hope that you will help us reach that goal.
While the donations last all day we are asking as many people as possible to donate between the hours of 10am to 11am CST (9am to 10am EST). The Texoma Gives team has extra prizes hourly for groups that receive the greatest number of donations during that time. This is not based on the amount received but the number of people who donate. There is also a $750 prize for groups that raise the most money outside of the Texas/Oklahoma area. It is not the amount but the number of donors. So even a $10 donation could help us to earn an extra $750 each hour of the day.
How can you help?
What we are asking is that you share our posts that day with 10 friends and ask them to donate, but even if they cannot donate, ask them to share the information too with 10 friends. By doing this the number of people who hear about this, and may donate, increases in astronomical levels very quickly.
Start- 10 people tell 10 people= 100 total Those 100 people tell 5 more which means that 500 people now know. If each of them donates just $10 we will exceed our goal by almost double!

SHH is working to renovate and open a Community Center, 100 S Washington, in Seymour. The Center will serve as a main Resource Hub for those seeking assistance, continued education, and more. Your donation will help us to buy flooring, paint, and interior supplies needed to complete our renovations and open our doors. Once opened we can offer continued education courses, job search assistance, help with locating information to assist those, Senior activities, and more.
