Seymour Helping Hands is proud to announce one of our most meaningful projects yet — the SHH Inclusive Park — a special space where ALL children, regardless of ability, can play, grow, and belong.
Why an Inclusive Park?
Every child deserves the chance to run, laugh, swing, and slide. But for many families in our area, traditional playgrounds simply aren’t built with accessibility in mind. The SHH Inclusive Park will change that — creating a safe, welcoming space designed for children of all abilities, including those with physical, sensory, or developmental challenges.
This park will be a place for inclusion, imagination, and connection, where no one is left on the sidelines.
💡 Our Vision
The SHH Inclusive Park will feature:
Wheelchair-accessible play structures
Sensory-friendly spaces
Ground-level equipment
Shaded seating and gathering areas
Smooth, rubberized surfaces for easy navigation
The estimated cost for the full project is $150,000, and with community support, we hope to break ground by fall of 2026.
🤝 How You Can Help
This park is a gift from the community — and we need your help to make it happen. Every donation, large or small, brings us one step closer to turning this dream into reality.
Here are 3 easy ways to get involved:
🧱 1. Purchase a Personalized Brick
Leave a lasting mark on the park by purchasing a custom-engraved brick! These personalized bricks will form the entrance walkway to the park — a beautiful way to honor a loved one, family, business, or organization.
