Seymour Helping Hands is proud to announce the launch of our newest community initiative—Senior Safety, a project designed to enhance the well-being and emergency readiness of our local seniors and vulnerable residents.
This program will provide locked wall-mounted key boxes to be placed securely at participants' homes. These key boxes will allow emergency responders safe and immediate access during medical crises or other urgent situations, helping to avoid forced entry and reduce response time when every second counts. Only the Sheriff’s Dispatch Office will maintain access to the key codes, ensuring the highest level of privacy and security for residents.
We are pleased to share that Sheriff Darcy White has committed to supporting this effort, recognizing the life-saving potential of these boxes.
We are currently looking for sponsors of these boxes so as to be able to provide them at no cost to our community. We have purchased the first 10 boxes to kick off this program.
If you or someone you know are willing to sponsor a key box (or several), or if you’d like to partner with us in sharing information with others, please contact us at 940-366-5212 or email Seymourhelpinghands@gmail.com.
Together, we can create a safer environment for those who need it most. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members.
