What's New 6/30/23

Work is well under way at 100 S Washington, Seymour, Texas to help create a wonderful space for the SHH Community Center. Even in 100+ degree heat volunteers are working to be out with the old and in with the new! Check out some of these pictures.

So what exactly is the Community Center going to be/do? It will be a place where everyone is welcome to come and be a part of something GREAT! We will offer activities for all ages from young to old.

American Sign Language

Continuing Education

CNA

Activities we hope to have:

Cooking classes

Budgeting Classes

How to courses

Art

Music

and so much more...

People in our community will be able to reach out to access a resource center that points you in the direction needed. An example would be someone calling looking for information on what to do if a they or someone they know is in need of assistance with a medical issue/addiction/bill pay help. We can help them locate the resources that they can contact to get the help. SHH wants this to be a HUB that connects you and the community with what you need.
