On Saturday, May 6th the Seymour City Park once again filled with the sounds of laughter and fun as the 2nd annual Seymour Helping Hands Spring Fling Car Show was held at the Portwood Pavillon. The event featured 55 cars, 47 vendors, and hundreds of visitors.
Cars traveled from all over Texas and Oklahoma with the furthest traveling from over 360 miles away. Winners:

Attendees enjoyed a free kids zone that included a bounce house, face painting, kids bb gun range, and even an agility center that provided a way to exercise and win a free t-shirt. There was also a kids car contest. 1st place- Emberlyn Lemmond, 2nd Place Killian Guerra, and 3rd was a tie between Kathryn and Kelvyn Flaherty.
For a second year there was a Little Miss and Mr contest. Winners:

The Art Show was a huge hit with several new participants entering. Winners were:

1st Place in Misc- Kristin Vaden “Deer Skull”
Seymour Helping Hands will be utilizing all funds raised at the show to help renovate their new building located at 100 South Washington into a Community Center scheduled to open later in the year.
