G.A.P. Program (Generating All Possibilities)

     Have you ever watched something that seemed impossible become a reality? That is the very definition of what has happened with Seymour Helping Hands. What started as a single person’s idea to have a small Facebook Page that would reach a few people to help make their day better and encourage a smile has grown into a major project with multiple people working toward a single goal- To make other’s lives better. 

     Our Mission Statement: Seymour Helping Hands is devoted to developing our community through connecting, uniting, and organizing essential resources for those in need, helping them thrive and the community grow.

     Generating All Possibilities, or GAP program is designed to work toward bringing areas of Art, Music, and Education to community members through hands-on experiences and educational classes.  Age restrictions are not placed on these programs allowing for any and everyone to feel included. 

     Seymour Helping Hands hopes to bring art classes encompassing all mediums- The chance to encourage the spark of imagination in any and everyone. Through Music we hope to encourage the songwriter in others, or help someone to find that they have a talent for music, or a love for singing. As the Community Center grows, classes are expected to be offered in not only extended education, but areas such as American Sign Language, Voice acting, and more. 

     The possibilities that are endless and the gap between the want to learn and the knowledge that is out there will be closed. We hope that you will take the time to stop into SHH Community Center to learn more about what we have to offer you.
