Bread is back!!

Thanks to Dolly Hawkins we will be able to continue on with the Let's Eat Project as we move into summer. Currently we are looking at having free bread available the last weekend of each month. This program has been a blessing to our community and we are happy to see it continue.

We will still be looking at a more local process of acquiring bread, after the new bread person takes over in the next month or so.

Are you wondering how you can help with the Let's Eat program? We are still accepting canned goods for our Food pantry as we work to stock it. Currently we do have some canned and non-perishable items available. We also have infant formula, and more. Local backyard farmers help to supply eggs and we have even had gardeners drop off vegetables when they have excess.

These items can be dropped off on Saturday's between 10-2 and we will be glad to give them out to folks in our community.

We are looking for a possible small freezer for the future as we have been told that we may receive wild game meat from time to time to help others.
