AA/NA meeting starting

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I’m writing to you not just as a member of this community, but as someone who cares deeply about the well-being of every person and family in it.

Addiction is something that touches all of us—whether directly or through someone we love. It doesn’t discriminate, and it affects people from every walk of life. We see the pain it brings, the struggles people face in silence, and the damage it can do to individuals and families. But we also know that healing is possible, and no one should have to face it alone.

That’s why Seymour Helping Hands is taking a step forward. Starting this week, we will be hosting AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) and NA (Narcotics Anonymous) meetings every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 PM, located at 100 S. Washington.

Everyone is welcome—whether you’re seeking support for yourself, standing beside a loved one in recovery, or simply want to better understand and uplift those who are struggling. These meetings are a safe space, free of judgment, built on the belief that we are stronger when we come together.

Our goal is simple: to lift people up instead of tearing them down. To be a light in the darkness for someone who needs it. To remind each other that recovery is not just possible—it is real, and it starts with community.

Please spread the word. Let’s stand together in hope, healing, and compassion.

With respect and solidarity,

 Seymour Helping Hands
